Cupertino Academy is hiring trained Orton-Gillingham educators to lead our Pods — small classes of four children (a 1:4 ratio). Each role is part-time and salaried, with the time and freedom to truly reach every child.
Intermediate Pod Teacher
Lead the Intermediate Pod, guiding children through fluency, spelling patterns, vocabulary, and comprehension with daily, evidence-based Structured Literacy instruction.

Upper Elementary Pod Teacher
Lead the Upper Elementary Pod, strengthening advanced morphology, writing, and comprehension while building the independence and self-advocacy children carry into the years ahead.

The role
What both positions share.
Each teacher provides a daily two-hour literacy block, plus about one hour daily for planning, assessment, communication, and collaboration. Both roles follow a Monday–Friday schedule that closely resembles the Oconee County school calendar, with a few modifications. Full-time opportunities may become available as Cupertino Academy grows.
