Cupertino Academy gives children with dyslexia daily literacy instruction built on an evidence-based curriculum — the Orton-Gillingham approach and the Science of Reading — in small classes of no more than four, where confidence is built one lesson at a time.

Cupertino Academy provides daily, specialized literacy instruction while your family continues homeschooling every other subject.
Monday–Friday
Students attend Cupertino Academy five days a week.
A daily 2-hour block
Instruction takes place in a focused, two-hour literacy immersion block.
You homeschool the rest
Families continue teaching all other subjects at home.

Cupertino Academy is a specialized educational program for students with dyslexia and related language-based learning differences. Through daily, evidence-based Structured Literacy instruction delivered by highly trained teachers in exceptionally small classes, we help children build the reading, spelling, writing, and confidence they need to move forward.
Our goal is not simply to provide support. It is to equip students with the foundational literacy skills and independence necessary to thrive in the educational setting that best fits their future.
Because Cupertino Academy focuses exclusively on literacy, families remain responsible for fulfilling state homeschool requirements in subjects such as math, science, history, and electives while their child is enrolled in the program.

Students attend Cupertino Academy for intensive literacy instruction led by teachers trained to serve children with dyslexia and related learning differences. With exceptionally small class sizes and evidence-based practices, we focus on the skills children with dyslexia need most.

The purpose of Cupertino Academy is to prepare students for greater independence and confidence in the educational setting that best serves them in the future. For some, that may mean returning to public or private school. For others, it may mean continuing on a homeschool path with stronger literacy foundations.
